3. Prop Trading Challenges
Prop trading firms charge fees for their evaluations (“challenges”). Many participants do not pass. Challenge fees are paid directly to the prop trading firm and are generally not refundable if you fail. Whether a firm accepts you, how it evaluates a challenge and whether it makes payouts is decided solely by that firm under its own rules. Prop trading firms may change their rules, restrict customers from certain countries, including the United States, or cease operations.
